  • 250g pasta of your choice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 300g mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about half a cup of pasta water. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer for about 3-4 minutes. Mix in the Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
