Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Water as needed
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the cauliflower into 3/4-inch thick steaks and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower steaks and then press the breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each steak.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and tender. While the cauliflower is roasting, prepare the lemon tahini drizzle by whisking together tahini, lemon juice, and enough water to achieve a drizzle-able consistency. Once the cauliflower is done, drizzle the tahini sauce over the steaks and serve warm.
